Dana is a Project Manager at the Yale Global Health Leadership Institute.
Dana has been a member of the ISECN New Media Working Group since 2008 and was a member of the online support team for the 2010 IUHPE World Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland. As an IUHPE intern under Professor Margaret Barry at the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2009, Dana contributed to the finalizing of the Galway Consensus Conference Statement on professional competencies for health promotion practitioners.
With degrees in both journalism and international affairs, Dana is particularly interested in the intersection of information management, policy making and health outcomes, feeling strongly that knowledge sharing is integral to building well-functioning health systems. She would like to participate in any project seeking to improve the coordination of actors, programs and information across the health sector. In her work at the Global Health Leadership Institute, Dana supports leadership development and quality assessment initiatives in the United Kingdom and South Africa. In her free time, Dana is an avid dancer, with a special love for tap, hip hop and Caribbean dance forms. She also enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures. She speaks Italian and French.
