Affiliation: Sidney is currently working as a partnerships coordinator and project developer for a group of associations promoting Agroecology, among which she cofounded Neo-Agri that supports new-peasants.
Involvement in ISECN/IUHPE: Sidney has been Professional Development Editor for Health Promotion Connection since December 2011.
Sidney studied agronomical engineering and specialized with a MSc Ecology in France. She further pursued and MSc in Public Health by distance learning with the University of London (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine). She spent a year in Argentina to conduct a research project on the link between Chagas disease vectors and environmental parameters and follow scientific journalism classes. Back in France she worked in a hospital in Paris owned by the Groupe SOS (a group of social entrepreneurship) as Health Education and Socio-Cultural project coordinator and then as Nutrition and Health engineer at the National Institute of Consumption.
Her interests include the links between agriculture, ecology and health, sustainable farming systems, health and environment education, social inequalities in health and health promotion.
