Involvement in ISECN/IUHPE

Previously Amy worked as a professional in digital media. This experience has led to her role here at ISECN in analyzing our website traffic and site usage.

Research/work interests

Although Amy has a background in communication and media, her heart is in anthropology and health issues in less developed countries. Her thesis project will focus on the occupational health of market traders in Peru and how notions of modernity may shape their treatment choices. In the future Amy would like to work for an NGO focusing on vulnerable women or health communication.

Personal

Amy is originally from Exeter, New Hampshire, USA though has lived most of her adult life abroad. She sums up her interests in 3 words: wine, travel, running.
