ISECN in Thailand 2013: Call for proposals to present in the ISECN sub-plenary session!

We received exciting news in October- the ISECN sub-plenary was accepted for the IUHPE World Conference in Thailand, 2013:

Investments for Health Through the Ottawa Charter Looking Glass:

A PechaKucha Discussion Facilitated by ISECN

You can participate in the sub-plenary in two main ways:

1. By participating in the planning leading up to the session: you will be considered a “co-lead” on the session and potentially an author as well.

2. By submitting a proposal for a PechaKucha session*: if your proposal is accepted, you will be an author on the session and will be an “invited speaker”. It is ok if you have never done a Pecha Kucha presentation before because we will hold workshops on developing your presentation! If you would like to be an invited speaker, please email Emily by November 30 with a 200 word (maximum) proposal that includes the topic of your presentation and how it addresses the conference theme, “What are the innovations worldwide that are transforming health promotion and what can we learn from them?” You should also include how you plan to highlight the innovation under the lens of the Ottawa Charter. We will work with proposal authors after that point to develop individual presentations. Please note that if you are unable to attend the conference in Thailand, but are still interested in presenting, we welcome an audio recording (with slides) for a presentation.

Anyone who is interested in being a part of this sub plenary email Emily Fisher ().
